It is so good to see you!
We have changed the way we worship together, but our message and purpose are the same. We are excited to spend this time together to strengthen each other and build one another up in Christ. Today, during worship, we will participate in The Lord’s Supper as a church family, as well as tithing and offerings. We are here to chat on Facebook, Youtube, through email, and through our Connect Card if you have prayer requests or would like to speak to a minister. We miss you and want to hear from you! While you’re worshipping from home, snap a picture and tag us on social media. We would love to see your face!
If you want to share prayer requests with us, or speak with a pastor, you can fill out our Connect Card online.

God Is For Us
You are loving
You give us more than we deserve
You are unfailing
Saviour
In you our future is secure
By your power
We will not be silent
Sin is powerless
Our God is for us
Our sin He carried
By His wounds we’ve overcome
Now we stand redeemed
Saviour
In you our future is secured
By your power
We will not be silent
Sin is powerless
Our God is for us
He won’t be defeated
Death is powerless
Our God is for us
Sing out
Sing for the Hope
Found in His love
We will sing
Sing out
Sing to our God
We will not be silent
Sin is powerless
Our God is for us
We will not be silent
Sin is powerless
Our God is for us
He won’t be defeated
Death is powerless
Our God is for us
Who You Are To Me
That You’re nothing more than fables handed down along the way
But I’ve seen You part the waters when no one else could pull me from the deep
That’s who You are to me
But I know You live inside my heart, I know that it’s Your home
And I’ve seen You in a sunset and in the eyes of a stranger on the street
That’s who You are to me
When I’m empty You fill me with hunger for more
Of Your mercy, Your goodness
Lord, You’re the air that I breathe
That’s who You are to me
Who You are to me
And I wonder when I stumble, am I still worthy of Your love?
But I know that I get stronger when I’m talking to You down on my knees
You’re everything I need
When I’m empty You fill me with hunger for more
Of Your mercy, Your goodness
Lord, You’re the air that I breathe
That’s who You are to me
Who You are to me
You’re the Lamb who is worthy
My forgiveness (My forgiveness), my healer (My healer)
The Messiah, my Redeemer
When I’m empty You fill me with hunger for more
Of Your mercy, Your goodness
Lord, You’re the air that I breathe
(Lord, You’re the air I breathe)
That’s who You are
In Your presence, Jesus, I stand in awe
Of Your mercy, Your goodness
Lord, You’re the air that I breathe
That’s who You are to me
King of My Heart
Let the King of my heart
Be the mountain where I run
The fountain I drink from
Oh, He is my song
Let the King of my heart
Be the shadow where I hide
The ransom for my life
Oh, He is my song
‘Cause You are good
You are good, oh-oh
You are good
You are good, oh-oh
You are good
You are good, oh-oh
You are good
You are good, oh-oh
And let the King of my heart
Be the wind inside my sails
The anchor in the waves
Oh-oh, He is my song
Let the King of my heart
Be the fire inside my veins
The echo of my days
Oh-oh, He is my song
Let the King of my heart
Be the wind inside my sails
The anchor in the waves
Oh-oh, He is my song
Let the King of my heart
Be the fire inside my veins
The echo of my days
Oh, He is my song
‘Cause You are good
You are good, oh-oh
You are good
You are good, oh-oh
You are good
You are good, oh-oh
You are good
You are good, oh-oh
You’re never gonna let
You’re never gonna let me down
And You’re never gonna let
You’re never gonna let me down
You’re never gonna let
You’re never gonna let me down
You’re never gonna let
You’re never gonna let me down
Oh ’cause You are good
You are good, oh-oh
‘Cause You are good
You are good, oh-oh
‘Cause You are good
You are good, oh-oh
You are good
You are good, oh-oh..
You’re never gonna let
You’re never gonna let me down…
You Never Let Go
Even though I walk through the valley
Of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I’m caught in the middle
Of the storms of this life
I won’t turn back, I know You are near
And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?
Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me
And I can see a light that is coming
For the heart that holds on
A glorious light beyond all compare
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
We’ll live to know You here on the earth
Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me
Yes, I can see a light that is coming
For the heart that holds on
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
Still I will praise You, still I will praise You
Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me
Forever Reign
You are good, You are good
When there’s nothing good in me
You are love, You are love
On display for all to see
You are light, You are light
When the darkness closes in
You are hope, You are hope
You have covered all my sin
You are peace, You are peace
When my fear is crippling
You are true, You are true
Even in my wandering
You are joy, You are joy
You’re the reason that I sing
You are life, You are life
In You death has lost its sting
Oh, I’m running to Your arms
I’m running to Your arms
The riches of Your love
Will always be enough
Nothing compares to Your embrace
Light of the world, forever reign
You are more, You are more
Than my words will ever say
You are Lord, You are Lord
All creation will proclaim
You are here, You are here
In Your presence I’m made whole
You are God, You are God
Of all else I’m letting go
Oh, I’m running to Your arms
I’m running to Your arms
The riches of Your love
Will always be enough
Nothing compares to Your embrace
Light of the world, forever reign
I’m running to Your arms
I’m running to Your arms
The riches of Your love
Will always be enough
Nothing compares to Your embrace
Light of the world, forever reign
My heart will sing
No other name
Jesus, Jesus
My heart will sing
No other name
Jesus, Jesus
My heart will sing
No other name
Jesus, Jesus
My heart will sing
No other name
Jesus, Jesus
Oh, I’m running to Your arms
I’m running to Your arms
The riches of Your love
Will always be enough
Nothing compares to Your embrace
Light of the world, forever reign
I’m running to Your arms
I’m running to Your arms
The riches of Your love
Will always be enough
Nothing compares to Your embrace
Light of the world, forever reign
Oh, You reign
Forever You reign
We sing
Oh, I’m running to Your arms
I’m running to Your arms
The riches of Your love
Will always be enough
Nothing compares to Your embrace
Light of the world, forever reign

SEPTEMBER 20, 2020 | CHAPTER 5: Dysfunction
SCRIPTURE: 2 SAMUEL 13:15
15 Then Amnon hated her with intense hatred. In fact, he hated her more than he had loved her. Amnon said to her, “Get up and get out!”
Intro:” Every family is Dysfunctional – the unfortunate truth is that the dysfunction we grow up with becomes our normal” George Dillard
Truths that must be embraced in dealing with our dysfunction(s) and overcoming it:
1- Weeds are easier to pull out of a garden when they first appear
2- The role of the Family is to protect, care for, nurture and support one another
3- We must understand that the consequences are not equal to everyone
4- We need people who can help us see through the fog of complicated relationships and encourage us to do the right thing
5- Life is so much better when we do things God’s way – especially with relationships

Welcome to Real Thoughts!
Challenging Our Students to Engage and Go Deeper in Their Faith Through Thought Provoking Prompts and Ideas.
In light of our temporary shift to online platforms, we are still looking to provide students with the opportunity to dive into the text and explore the faith through these conversations, but with their families now! We encourage each of our students to engage in the main worship service with their families while using their YMJ’s (Youth Ministry Journals) to flush out how the conversation from stage relates to them and where they are in their faith walk. The hope is that, in so doing, students will find themselves more ready to engage in conversation about the lesson with those around them, having gained a better understanding of what it is that the lesson means to them. So, join us this week as we continue in the conversation on George Dillard’s new book Epic Life!
Key Passage:
Epic Life Study: Chapter Five
Room For Thoughts:
Food For Thought
- Have you ever tried to build a lego set without all the pieces or the instructions? How did that go?
- When things don’t work the way that they were intended to it is called dysfunction. What is your approach to things not working right?
- What happens when you don’t fix something when it begins showing that it is breaking?
- Ignoring problems only leads to bigger problems. As we looked at last week, it is easier and better for us to address problems as soon as we can before they begin to cause bigger consequences. Can you think of a time where you let a problem get out of hand because you ignored it?
- Dysfunction can take place anywhere. In the story of David, we see an example of it in family. What does dysfunction in family look like and how does this compare to what God intended for family to be?
- In the midst of family dysfunction, how can you work to restore peace to that relationship?
- Part of curing dysfunction in the family and in our lives in general is to realize that we are not blame free. We must learn to do things the way God intended for us to do, even when it is hard and feels like no one is noticing. What are some areas of your life that you need to own up to and take responsibility for?
- God promises us that He will be with us always and that He is working for our good when we seek to live for Him. How can you be reminded of this throughout your week and on a day by day basis?
