It is so good to see you!
We have changed the way we worship together, but our message and purpose are the same. We are excited to spend this time together to strengthen each other and build one another up in Christ. Today, during worship, we will participate in The Lord’s Supper as a church family, as well as tithing and offerings. We are here to chat on Facebook, Youtube, through email, and through our Connect Card if you have prayer requests or would like to speak to a minister. We miss you and want to hear from you! While you’re worshipping from home, snap a picture and tag us on social media. We would love to see your face!
If you want to share prayer requests with us, or speak with a pastor, you can fill out our Connect Card online.

Today is The Day
I’m leaving my past behind
I’m setting my heart and mind on You
Jesus
Believing there’s so much more
Knowing that all You have in store for me is good
Is good
I will rejoice and be glad in it
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
I’m trusting in what You say
Today is the day
I’m leaving my doubts behind
I’m giving my hopes and dreams to You
Jesus
Believing there’s so much more
Knowing that all You have in store for me is good
Is good
I will rejoice and be glad in it
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
I’m trusting in what You say
Today is the day
Today is the day
(I will stand upon Your truth)
And all my days I’ll live for You
(And all my days I’ll live for You)
(I will stand upon Your truth)
And all my days I’ll live for You
For You
I will rejoice and be glad in it
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
I’m giving You my fears and sorrows
Where You lead me I will follow
I’m trusting in what You say
Today is the day
Today is the day
Today is the day
Today is the day
One Thing Remains
Stronger than the power of the grave
Constant through the trial and the change
One thing remains
This one thing remains
It never runs out on me
Your love never fails, and never gives up
It never runs out on me
Your love never fails, and never gives up
It never runs out on me
Before it overwhelms and satisfies my soul
And I never, ever, have to be afraid
One thing remains
This one thing remains
It never runs out on me
Your love never fails, and never gives up
It never runs out on me
Your love never fails, and never gives up
It never runs out on me
Your love
I’m confident and covered by the power of your great love
My debt is paid, there’s nothing that can separate
My heart from Your great love
It never runs out on me
Your love never fails, and never gives up
It never runs out on me
Your love never fails, and never gives up
It never runs out on me, it never fails
Reckless Love
You have been so, so good to me
Before I took a breath, You breathed Your life in me
You have been so, so kind to me
Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
I couldn’t earn it, and I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah
You have been so, so good to me
When I felt no worth, You paid it all for me
But You have been so, so kind to me
Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
And I couldn’t earn it, and I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah
Mountain You won’t climb up
Coming after me
There’s no wall You won’t kick down
Lie You won’t tear down
Coming after me
There’s no shadow You won’t light up
Mountain You won’t climb up
Coming after me
There’s no wall You won’t kick down
Lie You won’t tear down
Coming after me
There’s no shadow You won’t light up
Mountain You won’t climb up
Coming after me
There’s no wall You won’t kick down
Lie You won’t tear down
Coming after me
There’s no shadow You won’t light up
Mountain You won’t climb up
Coming after me
There’s no wall You won’t kick down
Lie You won’t tear down
Coming after me
Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
And I couldn’t earn it, I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah
Cornerstone
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly trust in Jesus’ name
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly trust in Jesus’ name
Weak made strong in the Savior’s love
Through the storm
He is Lord
Lord of all
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil
My anchor holds within the veil
Weak made strong in the Savior’s love
Through the storm
He is Lord
Lord of all
He is Lord
Lord of all, Christ alone
Weak made strong in the Savior’s love
Through the storm
He is Lord
Lord of all
Weak made strong in the Savior’s love
Through the storm
He is Lord
Lord of all
Oh, may I then in Him be found
Dressed in His righteousness alone
Faultless, stand before the throne
Oh, yeah, in the Savior’s love
He is Lord
Lord of all
The Solid Rock
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
-
- On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand. - When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil. - His oath, His covenant, His blood
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay. - When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne
- On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;

NOVEMBER 1, 2020 | Vigilant and Attentive
SCRIPTURE: 1 PETER 5:8-11
Would you share, when you hear the phrase, “Standing in grace” what that means to you? {Leaders: Standing in grace, is standing in Christ; we are going to trust in Him and rely on His strength.}
Serving others is one thing, but doing so eagerly is another. This implies that you are waiting in anticipation and looking for ways to serve in every aspect of your life. How can we break free of our concept of self to eagerly pursue the world around us through acts of service/love?
Can you think of any examples where you might start to do that in the lives of people around you?
We all have the tendency to see ourselves as the hero/protagonist/main character of our own stories. This, often, means that we can struggle to see our actions from the perspective of others. How can we be sure to keep in mind the needs and perspectives of those around us?
Where is it in your life that you find it the hardest to turn your focus from yourself to the needs and wants of others? Why is that?
Who is one person that you know that you have neglected to show an eager desire to serve? Spouse? Relative? Friend? Co-worker?
Why do we seem to struggle with the idea of standing firm in grace?
Can you think of any practical steps that you could incorporate into your daily routine to help change that?
If your going to make a stand; where you make the stand is important. Where do you think the best place is to take a stand? {There’s a lot of places we could take a stand. If you’re gonna die on a hill make sure it’s worth standing on. Is your deal breaker really your deal breaker}
{Standing in grace is standing in Christ and we are going to trust in Him and rely on His strength
