It is so good to see you!
Below is a breakdown of today’s service and message. You can find lyrics to the worship songs we will sing together, notes from today’s message, and break outs for both elementary, middle, high school aged kids. Our goal is to make today’s service as immersive as possible. If you are watching on Facebook or Youtube chat us! We are watching and responding. We can’t wait to hear from you!
We have changed the way we worship together, but our message and purpose are the same. We are excited to spend this time together to strengthen each other and build one another up in Christ. Today, during worship, we will participate in The Lord’s Supper as a church family, as well as tithing and offerings. We are here to chat on Facebook, Youtube, through email, and through our Connect Card if you have prayer requests or would like to speak to a minister. We miss you and want to hear from you! While you’re worshipping from home, snap a picture and tag us on social media. We would love to see your face!
If you or someone you know need help during this season, please fill out this request.

White Flag
The battle rages on
As storm and tempest roar
We cannot win this fight
Inside our rebel hearts
We’re laying down our weapons now
We raise our white flag
We surrender
All to You
All for You
We raise our white flag
The war is over
Love has come
Your love has won
Here on this Holy ground
You made a way for peace
Laying your body down
You took our rightful place
This freedom song is marching on
We raise our white flag
We surrender
All to You
All for You
We raise our white flag
The war is over
Love has come
Your love has won
Your love has won
We lift the cross
Lift it high lift it high [x8]
We raise our white flag
We surrender
All to You
All for You
We raise our white flag
The war is over
Love has come
Your love has won
We raise our white flag
We surrender
All to You
All for You
We raise our white flag
The war is over
Love has come
Your love has won
We lift the cross
Lift it high lift it high [x4]
See A Victory
The weapon may be formed, but it won’t prosper
When the darkness falls, it won’t prevail
Cause the God I serve knows only how to triumph
My God will never fail
Oh my God will never fail
I’m gonna see a victory
I’m gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to you Lord
I’m gonna see a victory
I’m gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to you Lord
There’s power in the mighty name of Jesus
Every war He wages He will win
I’m not backing down from any giant
‘Cause I know how this story ends
Yes I know how this story ends
I’m gonna see a victory
I’m gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to you Lord
I’m gonna see a victory
I’m gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to you Lord
I’m gonna see a victory
I’m gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to you Lord
I’m gonna see a victory
I’m gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to you Lord
You take what the enemy meant for evil
And you turn it for good

You turn it for good
You take what the enemy meant for evil

You turn it for good
You take what the enemy meant for evil
And you turn it for good
You turn it for good
You take what the enemy meant for evil
And you turn it for good
You turn it for good
You take what the enemy meant for evil

Live Wednesdays at 6:30pm
We’re live every Wednesday at 6:30pm for a deep dive into God’s Word. Right now we’re in Colossians. Can’t wait to see you Wednesday!
Daniel 7:13-14 NIV
13 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory, and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
The world is a confusing and difficult place often for the believer – What do we do?
How do we get through the confusion and difficulty?
- Live in the reality of Jesus’ return (vs.13)
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? Romans 8:35 NIV
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 NIV
- Live with the knowledge that confusion and difficulty will end (vs.14)
For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 1 Corinthians 13:12 NIV
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him, all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Colossians 1:15-20 NIV
- Live knowing that His kingdom cannot be destroyed (vs.14)
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, Hebrews 12:28 NIV
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57 NIV

Worship Songs:
Summary:
Read Daniel 7:13-14 together. In this scripture Daniel is telling a vision He has seen, and it is foreshadowing the coming of Jesus. For us, it is a reminder that God’s Kingdom cannot be destroyed. It is everlasting, just as Daniel said. Knowing this, believing this, and living like this is true changes everything. I mean, think about it, if we know God’s Kingdom cannot be destroyed and we’re a part of His Kingdom- shouldn’t that change things for us? This doesn’t mean I can try any stunt and not get hurt, but it means spiritually He already has the victory! When I invite my friends to church, when I give to the poor, when I serve someone- no matter how it ends He still has the victory and I’m a part of that victory! We don’t have to live in fear, we can live a life of thanksgiving because of this truth. 1 Corinthians 15:57 says, “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Anything you fear or anything you face cannot overcome God, so there’s no reason to fear. You have a victory in Jesus. Hard times will come, there will be trials you will have to face, but the confusion, the trials, and the difficulties have an end. We won’t face the hard times forever. That’s what having a victory in Jesus means and looks like. Today, and every day, live in that truth! Praise God because His Kingdom cannot be destroyed.
Activity:
Celebrate the victory Jesus has given us! Have a worship dance party, create something to remind you of this truth, find a way to praise God fully for the victory.
Discussion Questions:
- How does knowing Jesus has the final victory change the way you live?
- What is something that brings fear into your life?
- What does the fear from above make you do or not do?
- How can you apply today’s lesson into changing that fear into something you no longer fear?
Welcome to Real Talk!
Investing in the lives of our students through Real Conversations, with Real People, about Real Hard Questions of Faith.
These past few weeks, we have been trying out something new downstairs on Sunday Mornings. Real Talk was originally the brainchild of Jake Brown, the youth minister at Discovery Christian Church, designed with the hopes of encouraging students to lean into one another as they wrestle through questions about the text, that they may have otherwise just gone to a leader for an answer before looking for themselves. We believe that growth happens when we seek out Christ for ourselves, both individually and in community. Thus, it is the hope of us, here at PTC3, that Real Talk would provide students with an opportunity to take their faith into their own hands, as they invest in their relationship with Jesus, and walk alongside their peers through these questions and conversations.
In light of our temporary shift to online platforms, we are still looking to provide students with the opportunity to dive into the text and explore the faith through these conversations, but with their families now! We encourage each of our students to bring their families into these discussions and wrestle through the questions together, hopefully revealing areas of strength, hope, and growth for the family, as well as the individual. So, join us this week as we dive into Daniel 7:13-14 and explore the words of the prophets and learn what they mean for us today.
Question #1
What stands out about this passage to you?
Question #2
In order to understand this passage, in its entirety, one must first understand the context. These visions all came to Daniel in a time where his soul was greatly troubled because he saw the wickedness of the kingdom and God had began to show him visions of the end times. In the middle of everything that is going on in our world right not, how is your soul being troubled by our society?
Question #3
It has been said that this is the most divide America has ever been in history, not just politically, but as a whole. This breaks my heart and leads me to ask the question- what am I going to do about it? How are we going to be agents of change, peace, love, and unity in our divided culture?
Question #4
We are able to have peace in the chaos because we have a hope in the One who sits Most High. BUT just like Daniel still found his soul being troubled, it is important that we are reminded of God’s goodness and control. What best reminds you of this truth and how can you remind those that are close to you of that truth?
Question #5
In Daniel’s vision, he sees the coming of One who will set things right and establish a kingdom of peace forever. How does living in light of Jesus’ coming affect the way we pursue each day?
Question #6
We all struggle with the feeling that we could do better in our walk with Christ. How do you think you could change the way you pursue your life to better reflect the reality of Jesus’ dominion and Kingship and our relationship with Him?
Question #7
This text declares that dominion over all things have been given to Christ. What are you holding onto that you have been having a hard time to surrender?
Question #8
What makes it hard to give up that thing/person/life? Is it a fear of what a future without those things may look like? A doubt that what Jesus is offering is truly as good as He says it is? A lack of motivation?
Question #9
When we are affirmed in our faith, we are reminded that God’s reign and kingdom cannot be destroyed! This is great news, but, the question remains, how does knowing that God will always prevail give you hope and encouragement while you continue to love those that are around you- even those that you know won’t love you back?
