It is so good to see you!
We have changed the way we worship together, but our message and purpose are the same. We are excited to spend this time together to strengthen each other and build one another up in Christ. Today, during worship, we will participate in The Lord’s Supper as a church family, as well as tithing and offerings. We are here to chat on Facebook, Youtube, through email, and through our Connect Card if you have prayer requests or would like to speak to a minister. We miss you and want to hear from you! While you’re worshipping from home, snap a picture and tag us on social media. We would love to see your face!
If you want to share prayer requests with us, or speak with a pastor, you can fill out our Connect Card online.

Sing To The King
Glory to Jesus the Lamb that was slain
Life and salvation, His empire shall bring
Joy to the nations when Jesus is King
A song declaring we belong to Jesus
He is all we need
Lift up a heart of praise
Sing now with voices raised to Jesus
Sing to the King
We will be ready the dawn of that day
We’ll join in singing with all the redeemed
Satan is vaquished and Jesus is King
Than You for Loving Me
That we should be called His sons and daughters
Precious in His sight
Greater love this world had never seen
When He hung on that tree
For dirty sinners like you and me?
When on the cross You made history
Lord You died for me
Forever my praise will go to Thee
O God thank You for choosing me
To be Your child and bear Your name
It’s greater than all my sin
It always protects and trusts and hopes
And will have no end
It’s Your love that lifted me up from the depths
Set my feet on a solid rock
With a firm place to stand
Lord I always will trust in Your loving hand
When on the cross You made history
Lord You died for me
Forever my praise will go to Thee
To be Your child and bear Your name
O Jesus I will never cease to sing Your praise
How high how deep
How endless is Your love for me
How wide how long
How high how deep
How endless is Your love for me
El Roi
So Will I
There at the start
Before the beginning of time
With no point of reference
You spoke to the dark
And fleshed out the wonder of light
A hundred billion galaxies are born
In the vapor of Your breath the planets form
If the stars were made to worship so will I
I can see Your heart in everything You’ve made
Every burning star
A signal fire of grace
If creation sings Your praises so will I
You don’t speak in vain
No syllable empty or void
For once You have spoken
All nature and science
Follow the sound of Your voice
A hundred billion creatures catch Your breath
Evolving in pursuit of what You said
If it all reveals Your nature so will I
I can see Your heart in everything You say
Every painted sky
A canvas of Your grace
So will I
So will I
If the mountains bow in reverence so will I
If the oceans roar Your greatness so will I
For if everything exists to lift You high so will I
If the wind goes where You send it so will I
If the rocks cry out in silence so will I
If the sum of all our praises still falls shy
Then we’ll sing again a hundred billion times
You chased down my heart
Through all of my failure and pride
On a hill You created
The light of the world
Abandoned in darkness to die
A hundred billion failures disappear
Where You lost Your life so I could find it here
If You left the grave behind You so will I
I can see Your heart in everything You’ve done
Every part designed in a work of art called love
If You gladly chose surrender so will I
I can see Your heart
Eight billion different ways
Every precious one
A child You died to save
But what measure could amount to Your desire
You’re the One who never leaves the one behind

SERIES: Stand Alone, B.I.G Mission
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 28:18-20
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
1. Build Relationships
2. Introduce people to Jesus
3. Grow Disciples
Conclusion –
It is a Big Mission, but it is one that everyone of us can and does have a part in! I always liked the line in Mission Impossible “ this is your mission should you choose to accept it” For us it is Build relationships, Introduce people to Jesus and Grow Disciples.
**Virtual Family/Community Groups questions**
Application For Us:
- Who introduced you to the idea of following Christ?
- Would you like to share that story
- Why does George say we need to “earn the right to be heard”
- Can you think of some ways we can do that?
- What does it mean to introduce someone to Jesus?
- Is this something that you feel comfortable doing? Why or why not?
- Why do you think Disciples need to make Disciples? {Leaders: a disciple is a fully committed follower of the Savior, and so we follow His commandments and instructions… it’s practical for church growth and evangelism, it’s the job of every disciple. You cannot be a disciple, without making disciples.}
- How can we be prepared to do it? {Hint: B-uild relationships}
- Think of a relationship that you could invest in to start the process of discipleship.

Grab Your Gear:
Building something takes time and energy. You can’t just build a relationship in one conversation, it takes time! Build a tower, as tall as you can, using only toothpicks and marshmallows. When you’re done, think about the time, thought, and effort you put into this activity. Talk with your family about how putting time, thought, and effort into your friendships can help them grow!

Summary:
We’ve talked about the B.I.G Mission before, but maybe you’re a little new or maybe you just forgot. That’s okay, because the B.I.G Mission is something we will talk about A LOT! The B.I.G Mission sums up what our church, PTC3, believes. It means:
B – build relationships
I – introduce people to Jesus
G – grow disciples
Everything we do at Peachtree City Christian Church should fall under one of these three things. Why? Because it is what Jesus commands us to do! In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus says, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” This is our BIG MISSION!! Now let’s talk about these three parts of the Big Mission real quick. First, build relationships. This is important because if you aren’t someone’s friend, if you don’t really know them, it’ll be hard to talk to them about Jesus. So, this simply means be kind to people! Be their friend. That’s how we build relationships. Next, introduce people to Jesus. This comes after the relationship is built. You can introduce them through your actions and words. Both are very important! Invite them to church, but also be kind to them. They won’t want to go to church with someone who is mean. It’s just the truth! Last, grow disciples. It’s important to know that you can’t grow disciples unless you are a disciple. So making a decision to fully follow Jesus is so important! Once you do that, helping people grow in their relationship with Him kicks in. You can grow disciples by starting a Bible study, worshipping or praying together. Now that we know the B.I.G Mission, I can’t wait to see how we apply it to our lives!
Activity:
Think of a friend or family member you might see this week. Which part of the B.I.G Mission could you use in your relationship with them? Put it into practice! Decide to build that relationship, introduce them to Jesus, or help them grow as a disciple! Some ideas on how to do that are below.
Build relationships: asking them to play with you; facetime them to catch up; play a video game together; call them; send them a letter
Introduce people to Jesus: tell them what Jesus means to you; invite them to watch church online with you or invite them to church
Grow disciples: find a Bible study you can do together; commit to praying together this week
Discussion Questions:
- Is there a part of the B.I.G Mission that you think is easier? Why?
- Why do you think the B.I.G Mission is important?
- How does the B.I.G Mission help our church?

Welcome to Real Thoughts!
Challenging Our Students to Engage and Go Deeper in Their Faith Through Thought Provoking Prompts and Ideas.
In light of our temporary shift to online platforms, we are still looking to provide students with the opportunity to dive into the text and explore the faith through these conversations, but with their families now! We encourage each of our students to engage in the main worship service with their families while using their YMJ’s (Youth Ministry Journals) to flush out how the conversation from stage relates to them and where they are in their faith walk. The hope is that, in so doing, students will find themselves more ready to engage in conversation about the lesson with those around them, having gained a better understanding of what it is that the lesson means to them. So, join us this week as we delve into what it means to be a follower of Christ.
Key Passage:
Matthew 28:18-20
Room For Thoughts:
Food For Thought
-
- What does it mean to you to call yourself a Christian?
- What are some things you think God asks every Christian to do? Why?
- Some people argue that the Great Commission, in Matthew 28, applied only to the early church. Do you think that this is true? Why or why not?
- What are some things that make you want to believe that the great commission does not apply to you? Fear? Intimidation? Complacency?
- Whether we want to accept it or not, the truth is that we all have been called to share the good news with others and that should be something we are excited about! We get to tell people that there is hope for them! That they no longer have to live in guilt or as slaves to sin, but they can live in the freedom of Christ! That being said, the way we fulfill the Great Commission looks different for everyone depending on how God has gifted them.
- How might God use your talents and passions to share the gospel with others?
- At the center of it all, we are called to build relationships with others that reflect the love God has for them. Regardless of whether you are skilled at public speaking, you have the potential to lead people to God just by having a relationship with them. How can you use everyday conversations and interactions to share Jesus with those around you?
- Jesus promises us, at the end of His commission, that He will be with us as we go and Do. How is this a comfort to us and how can we remind ourselves of this when it is hard?
