About PTC3 Children

At Peachtree City Christian Church we strive to create a safe environment that radiates the love of Christ through our volunteers and surroundings. We want to reflect God’s love as we minister to each child through a variety of teaching methods imcluding: crafts, activities, music, and  games that are all centered around the lessons that teach God’s truth.

It is our goal that each child learns the truth about God’s love and what that means in his or her own life as well as others. Creating a firm foundation in Christ is top priority so kids can take that with them as they grow and learn.

Not only do we teach the love of God, but we also encourage kids to get involved in service opportunities within the ministry. We have students help with welcoming new kids to the ministry, taking ownership over certain projects and creative games, as well as train them in the behind-the-scenes aspects that go into creating a fun and exciting atmosphere through use of technology.

Whatever their gifts, we like to show them that they can be used in building God’s Kingdom even as kids!

Our Children’s Ministry focuses on three key areas:

Creating a loving environment that highlights safety where children feel free to grow and flourish with others in the Lord.

Providing fun activities that enable children to learn the truth about who they are in Christ in a kinesthetic environment that maximizes the learning experience.

Encouraging children to be who they are and be proud of their unique God-given qualities while learning more about the world beyond just their neighborhoods.

Sunday Morning

We take the time we have with your children seriously, which is why Sunday mornings are carefully planned so that we can maximize your child’s learning experience in a way that can help them grow throughout the week. We start off in our worship up. We have an “amp up song,” which is a fun song that gets us moving. We then follow that up with three worship songs. Our songs up high energy, as well as slower music, and include dance moves to show our kids that worshiping God can be a fun experience. We then have our Kindergartner-2nd graders go to small group, while our 3rd-5th graders have their lesson. After each portion is done, the two groups switch. Our lessons following along with the messages that our preached in our adult services, but given to the kids at a level they understand. Our small groups focus on activities that bring the lesson to the child’s every day life. Our volunteers pour themselves into each week’s lessons by different activities and discussions with their group. We want kids to participate in the lesson so they grasp the concepts and memorize scripture to use them outside of church. After the lesson the Lord’s Supper is provided for those who have been baptized, and an opportunity to give their offering is presented. We end our time together by playing games with the small group leaders.

VBS 2018 - Watermelon Sunday

Wednesday Night

After a long day at school, we want children to be able to relax and let loose; however, this time is used to its max potential by leading kids through meaningful activities, games and crafts that continue to teach the lessons that were initiated on Sunday. Our desire is for every kid to leave well equipped with more of God’s truth ingrained in their hearts with a smile on their faces and a renewed sense of God’s love that will help them face the challenges the rest of the week may bring.
